The second of the farm's ready sauces adds garden bell pepper to the tomato, and the pepper changes the room: sweeter, rounder, a sauce with a Sunday warmth on a Tuesday schedule.

Like everything from this farm, it is organic, from their own fields, cooked in the season the vegetables came off the plant.

Warm it gently and pour it over a big pasta shape, or let it be the sauce in a baked dish. And it needs no pasta at all: set it out at room temperature, straight from the jar, and it is a dip for bread.
